Appearance: 6' even, lean, muscular. Curly brown hair, deep brown eyes with thick expressive brows and a thick but trimmed beard. Serious case of RBF, but goes soft when he sees Nicky. Medium brown skin, darker than anyone else on the team except Nile. Thinks backwards baseball caps are appropriate combat style, so take that as you will.
Abilities: Regeneration: Can straight out survive all but the most grievous of wounds. Will be brought back to life if killed. Bones will unbreak and move back into position, bullets will be expelled, sword and knife wounds close, organs and other tissues stitch back together, bones will regrow if necessary. The process is not painless, they still feel the pain of their injuries and while the healing might not hurt as much as the initial injuries it does hurt. The regeneration comes with a time limit, but no one knows how long that is. Just one day the immortal in question stops healing. Because they generally lead violent and bloody lives, it's not often that they live very long past this revelation.

History: Joe was born in 1066 CE in The Maghreb, what's now North Africa. His prior jobs are listed as artist and merchant. At some point though, he became a soldier and fought in the First Crusade, which began in 1096 CE. There he met and fought Nicolo di Genova, an Italian knight. They killed each other, more than once, though how many times we're not told. At some point this got suspicious and one would presume they spoke. Eventually they would fall in love. After that they would meet Andromache and Quynh. After Quynh was thrown to the sea they spent time helping Andy try and locate her with no luck. The three of them became a unit after that, adding on Booker in the early 1800s. They could be found all over the world doing rescue work, fighting, and just in general helping out the rest of the world a little bit at a time. A year before the events of the movie, Andy has become disillusioned and the group takes a break, re-gathering in Morrocco.
-Group takes a job from former CIA agent Copley to rescue group of kidnapped girls
-But it's a set up and they get shot. Like. A lot. Cue coming back and killing the folks who shot them. It's caught on tape.
-Guy who hired them is selling them out to a Martin Shkreli wannabe who wants to use their immortality for... Idk money
-Team goes looking for Copley
-Nile Freeman, USMC in Afghanistan, gets her throat sliced open. But gets better.
-Andy goes to find her, does terrible job explaining things
-Team hides out in old church, Nile's actually gets told what's going on. Multiple flashbacks. Nile freaks out, Andy goes to talk to her
-Douche bag's personal SWAT team attacks, grenades Booker, knocks out Joe and Nicky and puts them in a van.
-Nile and Andy come back, Andy kick's some ass.
-Time to figure out where the boys got taken! And for Joe to launch very poetic regarding why Nicky is the best ever. (It's true.)
-Booker says he's figured out where to look. Nile has a crisis of conscious and leaves. But it's just Copley's house, because Booker is a traitor and shoots Andy in the back. Because being immortal doesn't cure you of depression. But now Andy isn't healing. They both get taken in by discount pharma weasel.
-Nile has a change of heart. Comes back. Finds out Copley has tracked them and the good they've done through the years. Thought he could help more if Big Pharma could figure out their secrets. Decides that was dumb after all and helps Nile break into the building the team is being kept.
-BADASS TOWER RESCUE SEQUENCE. Nile goes in, rescues the crew, everyone is pissed at Booker but they have to get Merrick (pharma dipshit) out of the picture. REVENGE TIME.
-Chase him up to the top floor, kill all his minions, kill Merrick by Nile grabbing him and yeeting herself out a skyscraper window. Ow.
-Team decides that for betraying them Booker is exiled for 100 years. Since Andy is probably going to die of old age before that, they say goodbye.
-SUPRISE! Quynh got out of her prison and finds Booker.
-Meanwhile the team is out finding their next job when Joe wakes up in the Pierced Heart, minus the rest of the team.
